Alternatives to lockdown

The government should pay more attention to the numerous studies which are suggesting that there may be better ways of tackling Covid eg allow some transmission among healthy people.

Lockdown strategies don’t appear to work over the longer term. Current data suggests that it simply spreads when restrictions are lifted. There is no guarantee of a successful vaccination programme any time soon. The current restrictions are likely to cause even more excess deaths in the future. In addition they are causing extreme misery and suffering now to millions of people.
