Checks at airports

Put proper checks in place at airports and for those who are supposed to be quarantining on arrival from another country

Why the contribution is important

People are not doing the quarantine therefore potentially spreading the virus, however if air travel is safe then let us fly

    Combine testing with a reduced quarantine period and ensure it is strictly enforced

    This should be applied to all entry points, not just airports (e.g. ports)

    This should have been done from the start , probably too late now. Need to make sure that quarantine on return is enforced , at the moment no'one is being checked

    Also include a test when people arrive followed by a test a few days later. Should be using cheap rapid tests that ide negative results.

    We need to stop blaming foreigners for all our problems. Whilst a quarantine policy may have worked at the start of the pandemic, we are passed this point now. Either bring the quarantine policy in-line with domestic case thresholds or scrap then entirely!

    People travelling to other countries accept a host of test or quarantine rules so Scotland shouldn't fear having some of its own. Sniffer dogs, rapid tests, quarantine should be the normal and routine with a low threshold for quick reaction to problems.
