Clear information around wedding restrictions

I think it needs to be clearer the rules around wedding restrictions.

With the threat of a circuit breaker looming in October, how long would this last? I have a wedding planned to go ahead on 07/11/20 after rescheduling for the 3rd time and am adhering to all restrictions but now am unsure how these new restrictions would impact my wedding. It is very likely that I wouldn’t know until the week before my wedding if there are further restrictions imposed.

Wedding insurance doesn’t cover for any rearrangement of weddings, and with notice as short as less than a week, it leaves couples in a really sticky situation of either having to go ahead with really heavy restrictions, or fork out hundreds/thousands of pounds to rearrange with all their suppliers.

This is important as it affects so many people - the bride and groom, their close family/friends (guests) and all of the suppliers involved who are struggling at the moment.

This could easily be resolved with a little further clarity and road map for Scotland.
