    In areas where there is high numbers of cases pubs should be closed. The 10pm curfew does not work. Most people now pre drink before they go out , as its cheaper than paying pub prices, this means they are already " merry " before they go our so they maybe don't obey rules. They then drink until 10pm, probably drink more to get the most alcohol in and then all have to leave at the same time. This means they are circulating on the street and then just go to supermarkets or off licences and buy drink and carry on drinking at home

    Yes I know it’s people’s livelihoods but pubs aren’t a priority in light of what’s happening with the numbers

    Very few infections have occurred in pubs and when they have they tend to be in the big ones like Weatherspoons.

    With most pubs having very strict COVID regulations in place, it is probably one of the safest indoor places you can be other than in your home alone
