Consistency of rules

The current rules are very inconsistent.
I can meet my mum & dad in a pub for a meal but they can’t come to my house for one!
I can work in an environment with many adults & children (some who are close relations), from numerous households but again, I can’t have them visit my home.
People can meet in a pub but yet churches remain closed? (Why are pubs such safe places?)

Why the contribution is important

Myself & most people I talk to are completely baffled by the current restrictions.

I believe the logic is that in a restaurant, social distancing can be more easily maintained than in a home environment.
But I wholeheartedly agree with you. The implication is that we are all unable to behave responsibly so we are ALL being treated like naughty children.

I believe that those who behave irresponsibly will do so regardless of the rules. Meanwhile, the rest of us are being penalised.
