  I think it is a great idea as at the moment we have more unemployed people who could police shops, public transport, hospitality, gyms, care homes.
  Give the unemployed jobs
  Keep the public safe
  Eradicate the virus

  We need to ensure that we have compliance with the advice and new laws for covid. In particular quarantine, self isolation and hospitalit are areas that would benefit from regular checking.

  Absolutely not. We are not a police state. Policing of any laws or statues should only be done by law enforcement with the suitable qualifications, credentials and checks to be able to work safely with the public to enforce such matters. Such as police officers

  It would be far more positive to provide ppl with a "key worker" who could support them to do the right thing.. provide practical advice and moral support .. be an advocate for them if they need to access services / benefits, liaise and advocate for them with employers etc. Someone who would check in with them perhaps twice a day. Quite intensive support but if it helps people comply feel more confident about being able to isolate effectively and come out the other side feeling they had done the right thing and felt supported it would be worth it. could use the 3rd sector practioners to assist with this.

  I think it's a great idea, something needs to be done. It would be a violation of our freedom , however everyone not adhering to the guidlines, and let's not beat around the bush here, there are alot, are doing exactly that for everyone else. If we take hard and conscice action now it would really help, it also might teach ppl how to follow the guidlines better and hopefully let us get back some of that freedom that everyone is desperate for!

  Not an enforcer, but someone to explain to folks the why and how. Always found it easier to take people with me as to dictate/order them to do something. It is about the explanation on the ground, people do not like being spoken to from what they see as people in power with what seems to them no clue of the reality in the real world.

  This is a terrible idea. We are supposed to be a kind and caring community pulling together throughout the current pandemic. All this would do would be instilling fear into the community! Which is the complete opposite of what we need right now. If everyone took the current situation seriously and followed FACTS we wouldn't need to even contemplate this!
