Employers linked to NHS system for checking employees who need to self isolate due to symptoms.

Employers should be able to check if an employee has asked for a test and waiting for results. Furthermore, employers should be made aware that all absences due to self-isolation should not count towards any punishment and should not penalise the employee.

Because many employees are taking advantage of this situation and employees who really need to self isolate are not taken seriously and might be penalised just for following government requirements.
