People who want to shield. Let them. The people who want to live there life and make this choice. Let them. This is becoming a nonsense. And no lockdown over school holidays. My child has suffered enough for this. It’s time to live with it.

Why the contribution is important

For mental health and for the kids of the future. Time to let the 50+ people hide if they want.

    I agree there should be no lockdown over the coming half term holiday. Many people will lose a lot of money if they are forced to cancel a holiday at the last minute

    I agree completely.

    Our human rights are supposed to be inalienable and immutable. Now it seems they can be taken away from us or changed on the whims and opinions of a room full of people.

    Educate the public, accurately, and let each person determine what level of risk they want to take. Trust the public to be respectful. The Scottish people, for all our faults, are exceptionally considerate and neighbourly.

    Absolutely. Those that want lockdowns and masks can fill their boots. Elderly and vulnerable can shield if they so wish, and the young healthy population will get out there and keep the world turning, build herd immunity for the elderly so it’s safe for them to come back out. The same way it has worked with every other virus. Ever.

    Agree completely. We are all grown adults and have the right to choose for ourselves and for our children.
    We were taught to think for ourselves so why are we not being allowed to. As with everything in life, there should be a level of common sense.
