Living with Covid19

We need to learn to live with the virus to preserve our economy. I am a self employed business owner and like many others received no help from the government. If a circuit breaker lockdown went ahead and businesses had to close, I have serious doubts my business could survive. The highstreet has changed beyond recognition forever and we need to act now to save it for our economy, for employment for wellbeing and mental health. If we all work together and adhere to restrictions applying common sense to daily situations we can come through this.

To learn to live with covid looks like our only option to preserve the economy, wellbeing and mental health. The government can't support everyone but we don't want to live in a benefit state where everyone is solely reliable on the government to provide housing and income. I'd much rather continue to work for my living, continuing to contribute to our economy and get us back on our feet. We've slowed the spread of the virus already but unfortunately it's on the rise again and worse than ever. The economy won't bounce back if we do this again.
