Manage non Covid health and care

Focus and increase resources on managing Non Covid patients.

Why the contribution is important

Many conditions including cancer, eye disease, mental health, arthritic hips, dental decay are not being managed properly. The numbers of people affected, QALYs and impact on economy far outweigh the COVID numbers. We must rebalance or we lose the progress made over previous decades. Invest more money in the system, retrain our people to help.

Any death or condition that is non-covid seems currently to be unimportant.

The rest of the NHS needs to get back up and running. There's an enormous amount of problems being stored up for later causing significant impact to QOL

No one cares about our health any more. GPs are urging people to see private doctors. Dental practices too.
You are creating a very ill health nation with this attitude.

There needs to be an overall public health strategy, not a blinkered Covid strategy. The current strategy is creating a huge problem going forward. How is this compassionate, caring or indeed the "greater good" strategy that avoids unnecessary loss of life? If we continue with this suppression and not opening up services further, we are allowing unnecessary loss of life and suffering.

Covid crisis needs to be devolved to Local Authorities and Local NHS Health Boards, giving them the flexibility to allocate covid free hospitals in their own areas and work with neighbouring Health Boards. Local Authorities should be responsible for introducing and monitoring any restrictions and keeping the public informed. SG should be involved in facilitating through funding and resources.

Video calls with doctors don't work. My mother who has COPD was refused to physically see a Dr and ended up with phnomonia in hospital beacuse you can't hear a chest on a video call.

    Where's their duty of care.

    Not covid we don't care
