No more restrictions

The first lockdown didn't work long term and having a longer lockdown compared to England didn't put us in a better position for winter as it was meant to.
Our r number is actually higher than England's now.
Our cases have rocketed, businesses are struggling and the mental health of the country hangs in the balance.

Stop imposing the same rules and expecting a different outcome. If lockdown didn't work the first time, it won't work a second time. Public support for another lockdown is also lower than before and compliance will be weaker.

Why the contribution is important

People have had enough.

Agreed. We can keep each other safe by voluntarily reducing interactions, especially before coming in contact with someone vulnerable. Also by working from home where possible, wearing masks in indoor, crowded settings etc.

Restrictions do not make it safe for vulnerable people to live their lives normally, no matter what lockdown proponents say. Better to support people to live with the level of risk they feel comfortable with. For some this will be higher than for others. Those requiring a low level of risk should be enabled to achieve that with support offered to them.

Education and empowerment are more effective than restrictions and punitive measures.
