Pregnant Teachers

Have a consistent approach in place for all pregnant teachers regardless of local authority area. At present some local authorities are allowing pregnant teachers to work from home when they enter their 3rd trimester whilst other local authorities insist on teachers remaining in school with full class contact.

In other professions pregnant women are encouraged to work from home however no consideration is being made for those in the teaching profession.
