Reduce working hours

To keep shops open reduce working hours 10 - 3. Kids are home from school and that way reduces the amount of people circulating as parents/etc are at home for them. It keeps shops open and they can maximise their sales during these hours. No travelling miles to go shopping - stay local.

All ideas are important. However I feel that shops being open 9 to 5 is extremely stressful for staff. It is bringing them into contact with many different people. As it is at moment I notice that shops are busy in morning and start to tail off around 2.30. Parents/grandparents are hurrying home before school gets out. The result is a quieter town centre .
