Since the beginning of this, we have been continuously told the government is following the science. As the months have gone on, the scientific data accumulated has been enormous. All of it showing that lockdowns, in all their shapes and forms, around the world were inneffective. The virus followed a natural gompertz curve trend. Now that autumn is here and virus season is back amongst us, we are seeing similar natural upticks, nothing more.
Why is the focus now on "cases"? Is it because there are very few hospitalisations and even fewer deaths? Show us the numbers for all normal everyday deaths in comparison. Except you wont, because then all those people who are in fear right now might just stop being afraid and say no to your demands. I was an snp voter. Your openness now will dictate whether i ever vote for you again.

We want the truth and to be treated as adults.

    Absolutely. We are a well educated population and demand to be given the data that you are basing your decisions on. As he says - treat us like adults Ann’s stop removing our freedoms without presenting the detailed rationale behind it.

    we need more details re hospitalisations and deaths - the numbers alone do not give enough information to understand the situation

    Exactly. For each measure introduced, tell us how many cases, hospitalizations and deaths it is expected to avert (a range is ok), and also tell us the damage said measure is going to cause in terms of job losses, mental health, etc.
