Start Using Louisa Jordan Field Hospital

The Louisa Jordan was purpose built to handle up to 1000 Covid patients so why is it sitting idle when we are being told hospitalisations are increasing rapidly. Anyone with a confirmed Covid infection should be admitted to this dedicated facility and allow the community hospitals to get back to their “day job”.

Admitting Covid-19 infected people into community hospitals presents a very high risk of cross infection to all other patients, staff and visitors. This is easily mitigated by isolating these patients and staff in a dedicated unit.
