Test Twice

When someone tests positive test them again to minimise false positives. If they test negative on the second occasion then test them again. Two positive tests should then be regarded as a confirmed case. By all means self-isolate until CV19 is ruled out. This not only gives a clearer picture of the number of confirmed cases but also enables better estimates of test efficiency I.e. false positives .

Why the contribution is important

High transmission areas are currently being identified using case numbers but these may be seriously misleading since false positives can have a large impact.
