Thoughts.

Manage non-covid healthcare, it’s very important to those who aren’t getting the treatment they need in a time like this.

Lockdown the central belt, their cases are skyrocketing and it’s becoming apparent that other areas are suffering.

Protect the shielding and vulnerable continually, allow those who are lower risk to go about their day and get on with living with the virus.

Do not consider removing education and childcare. Children are losing out on so many social options due to the restrictions imposed due to the virus. Take away education and they become less driven in learning.

Why the contribution is important

I feel my idea is important because I’m a single parent of 3 under 5 and I’ve seen how it’s effected my family and other families around me. Not being able to work and provide for my family the way I could before, my children missing out on my their day to day Early Learning. Missing out on seeing family members they depended on seeing.

My mental health has suffered greatly due to these restrictions and while yes, I have an extended household, it doesn’t help. There needs to be more freedom rather than restrictions.

The vulnerable live and work amongst us., many are young with long and productive lives ahead of them. It is not a solution to lock up a third of society indefinitely.
