Why the contribution is important

Government need to have actions open to robust scrutiny, need to justify what they are doing and why. Too much changing between measures, not enough being done to set targets (arbitrary numbers being used)

    Yes, I agree scrutiny is important as well as allowing for discussion on alternative measures like Sweden.

    Exactly. And don't leave it to MSPs only either (most of whom swallow the party line even those who are not SNP) - allow the people a say by asking industries, creating citizens' councils, etc.
