A people's assembly
along the same lines as the Extinction Rebellion model - bringing folk together from all walks of society, giving them the information & data and questions they are to consider and let them come up with the decisions.
Why the contribution is important
Because it involves a representative cross section of society and is therefore likely to come up with decisions which mirror the general public and are likely to be more acceptable. It takes politics out of the equation and puts first what matters to the Scottish public. It could be a radical model for change going forward...
