Act on the feedback you are receiving

There has been a large number of responses to this discussion forum. Some of the ideas have been excellent other a matter of opinion. Clearly the Scottish Government are looking to see what the mood of the country is to the current pandemic and how we Scots will react to the next steps. The government needs to listen to well argued points and ease the lockdown where necessary. A few ideas such as extending exercise and “social bubbles“ will have some impact on the R figure but we are at the stage where further continued lockdown will have physiological and physical issues for years to come. Listen and learn.

Why the contribution is important

Not acting on ideas and responses will undermine faith in the government and those managing this pandemic.

The scottish government do not care about your opinion, this is public stunt to make it sound like they are listening.
Nicola Sturgeon is a bad a Boris who both have failed in the covid19 situation. They are now being political over the nations health and wellbeing,
As per usual they are making sure they look good for self gain in the political world.
This website is as much use as chocolate tea cup as the government will read and act on nothing written.

As there are so many opinions (mostly) and ideas (a few), which ones would they choose.
And if you were in government, what would you implement, and what risks, in relation to infection
and death rate, would you take.

I agree totally with Neil74. It’s now a political game for the First Minister

I agree entirely with Neil74. Nicola Sturgeon is now using this virus for political purposes

Most actions from the very start of all politicians appear to have been politically motivated. It’s time to put competence before spin or dogma when we cast our votes. This would be easier to discern if media behave rationally rather than all about headlines. And a competent , robust opposition is an essential part of accountability.
