Alignment in UK

Although I am an SNP supporter now is not the time to have individual rules. We need to speak as the UK to avoid confusion and unrest. We need the rules on lockdown to be for the whole of the UK, not regional. Everyone needs to align with each other. My fears of social unrest will happen if we don’t get this right. It’s not the time for Individual politics to start.

Why the contribution is important

Very important as I fear social unrest otherwise

Very much agree with this. Boris saying one thing and Nicola saying another is going to cause Scots to act in two very different ways depending on which they prefer. we MUST have alignment with rUK

The Scottish Government's decision to keep us locked-up longer than England will have a negative impact on the support for Scottish independence. Nicola would do well to remember: Nemo me impune lacessit.

I've been a life-long supporter of Scottish independence, and always will be, and have in the past voted SNP as I believed it was the best way to achieve that aim. However their performance in Government is atrocious, with one daft scheme after another. It seems they feel they have to use the limited powers they have just for the sake of it.

    Right now..I'm with Nicola.

Sorry I disagree. We are behind the curve so lockdown needs eased more slowly.
The U.K. government seems to be going it alone. The other 2 devolved nations also disagree with him. Why should the Scottish government agree to a step which they feel is dangerous here? They are the ones who will take the flak if things go wrong.

It’s all in the politics Now . Ms Sturgeon won’t like to have devolved power diluted - not even in the interest of sense !

Put me in the hands of the Westminster shambles? I think not.

This is not about politics. This is about common sense and doing what is right for Scotland.

Totally agree. You read things in newspapers and have no idea which country it refers to.
I also think if England comes out of lockdown before Scotland that the SNP will lose support.

Disagree, areas need to work based on the risk in the area, Shetland and Edinburgh are dealing with completely different risks situations. There should be a way to have a overall message, but more tailored stages/strategies for each regions.
