Allow new parents to access family support

My husband and I had our first child on the day that the lockdown was introduced and have spent the 7 weeks since then at home alone. In addition to being unable to introduce our parents to their first grandchild, we have not had the benefit of family support which is even more important when the normal midwife and health visitor appointments are not in place. This has been hard for us and a source of our great distress for our families.

We are in touch with other new parents who are also finding this is a real struggle and would like to see this aspect of the lockdown eased as soon as possible.
