allow podiatrists make home visits

i am prime carer for my wife. she needs to have her tonails cut every month by expert to prevent nails cutting into toes...our home visit podiatrist tells us he cannot make visit under threat of disbarring.
she cannot walk and is in pain. other people with diabetes or blood disorser, cellulitis etc are in danger of infection....should we not allow these practioners to be on an emergency footing/

Why the contribution is important

niche medical ailments are being ignored

Might be an idea but only if appropriate anti-infection controls are in place.

Only people who care for the old generation realise this, you loose the abilty to cut your toe nails, either your hands are too weak, unsteady, nails too thick, or just can't reach. Its a natural thing that the public don't want to know about. Thats why aging in the modern society is shunned and the older generation are written off as burdens. Our society in general has no interest in preserving the 'dignity' of old folk - just interested in fluffy bunny children.
