Allowing open air sports clubs to reopen

As a volunteer golf club Secretary, a suggestion to allow sports / exercise clubs to allow members back - specifically golf, bowling, walking, etc.
I say members as these can be engaged with, 'inducted' to the sport / set up and any measures communicated and 'enforced' in the event of breach.
For example, if a golf club allowed it's members back to play and restricted the number in a group, access to the club house, etc, these measures could be communicated to the membership. Breaches could then be enforced by revoking their access for example.

A lot of clubs have members which have continued their club subscriptions through the lock down so they should given priority to return and participate in their sport / club.

New members can sign up but should be inducted before participating. If you 'rock up' to play golf, bowls, join the walking club, etc. then you should be kindly asked to refrain from participating until you can be 'inducted' for the protection of yourself and the members and their families.

Why the contribution is important

Participation in club sports is important as a social outlet for all ages and is a valuable form of exercise. By having some structure to how these sports can can reintroduced they can serve a vital support group for the communities and help preserve these clubs for the future as even some monies coming can sustains their survival. This will help safeguard employment in the long terms around which these clubs and groups survive.
