I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking why this was prevented during lockdown, how more socially distant can you be sitting in a boat, on a rock or on a bank alone fishing or simply emptying the mind and slowing the cogs.
Why the contribution is important
I need the sea, the escapism the solitude for my mental health. A lot of people are feeling low and lonely during this crisis and I understand that, I am struggling to find solitude, a place where I can quieten my head. My back up to the sea, boat and coastal marks were quiet, rarely trodden paths. Since lockdown these have become busier than most of the streets and are no longer even a poor temporary replacement for spending time on the water.
