Antibody testing

I’ve had this virus no doubt at all connected directly to a person who tested positive but I was not tested as I didn’t require oxygen and hospital treatment. If I had the antibody test I could meet others in my family with respectful distance in the garden just to be sure but they too like me have had it over two months ago now and we are all still in quarantine or sheilding unnecessarily. Absolute respect for social distancing even at 3 meters to keep a united approach to the issue as it’s very serious and happy to do so into next year if need be for vaccine and observation of any mutation. basic antibody test would be helpful (but a reliable one)

Why the contribution is important

Also a basic reliable antibody test would at least let me get the hospital and medical care and treatment I’m not getting at the moment for my MS relapse because my diabetes needs hospital management if I am to take high dose steroids, this is not a home care management option. It would let me get my mri also without any unnecessary anxiety.

Antibody testing is vital. Once a reliable test has been established then mass testing of the population should commence.

A few weeks ago my wife had a flue like illness. Nowhere near bad enough to seek medical help. It would be really good to know if that was CV-19 or not.

I also suspect when testing does happen we will find a lot more of the population have had it than the official figures show.
