Basic income broadband and digital inclusion

So broadband is now central to working, schooling and connecting with family. However ongoing costs and contracts are excluding some in society. As a basic income across all households offer free broadband for the lockdown period. This alongside targeted digital equipment for those that need it would allow online classes for schooling and include vulnerable groups, increase digital inclusion of poorer groups or those who cannot afford broadband, encourages people to remain at home.

    Key considerations are : safe access for telecom engineers to homes without a phone line.

    Priority to families with school age children.
