Be honest with the people

Tell the truth, people will die. It's unavoidable. The only thing we can control is how soon they die.

The virus is here and too widespread to isolate it like other countries that acted early have done. Ease the restrictions and tell it like it is. If we open schools it's to allow people to be able to get back to work. Tell them the risk, it's not that high but it's not zero. If people go back to work, tell them the risk. It's not that high but it's not zero.

People will die as long as the virus is here. We have the capacity to care for them but we won't be able to save everyone. That's what we do for everyone that dies nomatter what the cause.

Why the contribution is important

If we don't tell people the truth then they will jump to their own conclusions. We're all adults. We know that people die every day. Nobody wants it but we live with it because we know it's unavoidable.

Don't pretend that we're trying to stop all deaths unless you're really planning to keep everyone in lockdown until there are no infections.

Sadly honesty & Politicians are rarely together.

Thery have made a decision & as politicians they cant admit they were wrong so they have to pursue it no matter what the cost.

The First Minister has been very honest with us if you watch BBC 1 or channel 9 at 12 30pm daily for updates. She is telling us how it is and advising us how we can help reduce the spread of virus. That's why we're still in lockdown for the next 3 wks. She has admitted mistakes have been made but politicians are human too and have never had to face a pandemic like this one before. It's easy to criticise the Government but the First Minister has been very open, honest and sincere from the start with Scottish people.

I think Nicola Sturgeon has been very honest with us and I completely support her as a politician. I am all for the SNP. However, I do think there needs to be an easing of the lockdown especially with the people at the least risk. We need to try to get society back on its feet even if it does mean doing it in small stages.
