Being able to rate/comment on suggestions made by other on this site.

To enable people to share agreements with comments by others within this forum. Could be simple agree/disagree vote on comments to save repetition of ideas and also to prevent needless negativity and unhelpful commenting.

Why the contribution is important

To be able to assess the general view of others more easily in a simplified format.

    Spot on. This is a good idea for a site but a touch spoiled by the repetition of ideas probably because folk can't be bothered reading 25 pages worth (as it is right now) but they do want to get involved (a good thing).

    I couldn't agree more. As I write this there are over 2,600 ideas posted. There is no way that I am going to go through all these to give them a rating. It's not helped by displaying just the idea heading which requires you to go into each idea to get the detail and vote.
    There needs to be some sort of overall summarising of ideas which based on all these ideas to allow a collective view to be established.
    I would also question the star rating system. What is taken from a one-star vote? Does this mean minimal approval, or does it mean disapproval?

    Do not remove lockdown just because of public pressure. We must continue to maintain people are safe and are confident the pandemic is under control.
    Any life lost to this virus is one too many and hard to bear.
    For those wanting to 'hug' family, see grandchildren etc, stop and think, be patient, by breaking the rules, you are risking precious lives.
