Better granularity

Be open and honest about where the virus actually is (hotspots etc). We were promised this a few weeks back in a daily update but have yet to see it, other than broken down by "Glasgow", "Lothians" etc which is too high level.

Why the contribution is important

It would surely be helpful in letting the public get a better picture of what's going on and where.

A logical approach. However because of the lack of testing they don't know the facts. Easier to just keep the status quo and the same script.

I like this idea. Why should all of Scotland stay locked down if there are only a few ‘hot spots’. (In time) Provided people do not travel out with a certain designated area then the virus is contained to those that already have it.

Essential that people with little or no risk of exposure are let out of lockdown ! Infection rates in some areas are 0 or close to 0 so hundreds of thousands are locked down unneccessarily.

I think we should be showing a map of regions every day and say if these are hot spots or not
Also think we need to say in each region no of test carried out no of positive tests no negative tests , no deaths and no of recoveries
If this can’t be shown then we need to be able to search for our own region and the region you work in so you know what’s happening there too
Schools should be monitored too and information should be available to say when there are infections at the schools

I am one of the fortunate high risk people who has been able to take refuge in New Zealand. It would be great to make an informed decision about returning home if I knew the number of cases in my local Glasgow area. I want to return as soon as possible (flights allowing) but with the current lack of detailed stats it will be fingers crossed and hope for the best.
