Business Start Up Grants
Should the unemployment rate start to rise then small business start up grants should be made available to help people to stay off universal credit and take more control of their future and income. £30 a week for a year could help someone to make that critical choice to start up.
Why the contribution is important
because it will help individuals who are can-do and have initiative but are struggling to find paid employment to take that leap. I think it would cost less than universal credit and out of it could come some great business which end up growing and employing people.
