Care Home Lockdowns

As the main problem area in Scotland now appears to be Car Homes why can all care homes not be in full lockdown for 2 weeks, get some staff to stay in the care home with residents for the time.

    While this might be a good idea if you can get staff to do that I am afraid that 2 weeks will not be enough.

    I understand that due to staff sickness levels there is an increase in the number of bank staff. It may be worthwhile determining that bank staff are not moving between different hospitals or care homes.

    I think if staff had been available to lockdown for minimum wage, the care homes would have done it already, however as most staff have young families, dependant members of their families etc at home I don't think as a rule this would be feasible for many homes, also the rest of the staff would be out of work.
