Close Parks and Beaches

If this weekend is anything to go by, the public is incapable of understanding the situation, assessing the risks, and obeying the rules. Therefore, all parks and beaches should be closed again until we are sure that people understand and will behave appropriately.

Why the contribution is important

Because, until people realise the seriousness of the situation and the need for them to do their part, we will continue to see mass deaths.

Don't like this as a blanket measure as many are still quiet and safe. How about police or local authority setting up 'air-raid sirens' when overcrowding occurs?

Closing parks and beaches will not stop people congregating if they are so minded - they will head to other locations which are harder to 'police' and risk emergency services more.

People need access to open space for both physical and mental health and responsible access to parks and beaches for local people is important.
