Its clear Scotland is on a different path than England in terms of R number. This means we need a separate strategy. We need to close the borders to prevent people in England or wales from coming to Scotland.
Why the contribution is important
If Scotland has a different strategy then closing the border will save life's. If Westminster come out of lockdown first then Scotland is at risk of people traveling over the border. This will have a significant impact to the time on lockdown, will impact the economy and have a know on effect on people's mental health. We need a separate plan in future. Reacting faster to lockdown, saves lifes and help protect the economy as we can then end lockdown faster. We never know if there is a second wave or if there is a more deadlier virus in the future.
