In Kintyre household Rubbish is collected everyday fortnight rather than every three weeks. However, with majority of households with one bin this defeats the purpose when excess waste has to be stored by the householder until tips are open. Rather than a deluge of waste to the tips they should be opened ASAP like England to alleviate the concentration of waste build up by each household.

It will reduce flytipping
