Having coordinated a childcare hub i am concerned about planning around reopening schools. Really miss pupils but please consider..
Lack of available staffing and need ratios as per hub of 1:5
Buildings and Estate not built for distancing..corridirs less than 2m wide
Staff cannot teach one group full time and manage online learning at same time..its 2 full time jobs
Primary age ..4 to 8 just cannot social distance
Emotional impact on these new environments..sitting at a desk all day ..no contact..limited outdoor play
Please...please consider and plan carefully. I am really worried about pupils but also about staff mental health
