Single daily update, at the same time, involving all UK nations at the same time, single message, no political point scoring (which is now creeping in).

Too much variation across the piece and this is confusing at times. And unless you settle on common metrics and stick to them, you're measuring and reporting nothing. In a digital age how difficult can it be to collect and report real-time statistics.
