Councils Need to get back to cutting the grass
Local councils need to get back to keeping the grassed areas cut. There is no reason that social distancing is not possible during the grass cutting activity, nobody would be within 2 meters of a tractor, or any other machines used by the local councils to cut the grass. If it goes on much longer when they do eventually cut the grass the place will be left a complete mess as they never tidy up after they finish and cut grass is left all over the pavements and road. In addition dog walkers are finding it difficult to pick up dog mess in the long grass so in many cases it is just being left.
Why the contribution is important
It is a service paid for in our Council tax and social distancing should not be an issue in this activity.
