Create an Employee Hotline to Report Concerns

Give employees direct access to a Government assigned function to assess workplace social distancing effectiveness. This organisation would ensure that employees, who may feel under pressure from employers, have an independent contact point that will act on their concerns. And - employers will have access to an expert, able to guide them in the deployment of effective practices.

Why the contribution is important

There will be real concerns from employees about their welfare and not all employers will have the expertise or motivation to do everything possible. A 3rd party advisor could be seen as an effective way of ensuring proper deployment in all areas with consequences from employers who do not protect staff.
