Dentistry

Inform dentists of future financial support (both private and NHS) and accessing PPE. Normal dental service will not resume for a long time.

Why the contribution is important

The public need a functioning dental service and as front line health workers why are we being asked to take a financial hit?

these should never have been closed. The dangerous things some people have resorted to as a result of this should be reason enough

Dental health issues can lead on to other health issues so support for dentists (at the NHS level at the very least) is as important as any other NHS service. Private and non essential dentistry may have to wait but more clarity on basic dental health issues including treatment of abscesses or other infections and for extractions where necessary should be brought back under the umbrella of general medicine.

If dentists wear appropriate PPE I don’t see the problem.
