Different Strategy for Care Homes

Care homes and the general public need different strategies for relieving the lock down due to the unique circumstances around care homes. Residents of care homes can be contained easily and visitors can be managed through sensible use of PPE. Staff an also be protected through the use of PPE to minimise the risk of contamination. This will allow a different strategy to be created for the general public.

Looking at the total number of cases etc will prolong the lock down period and create more and more frustration with the general public, especially when it is known a large number of cases are within the care home community.
