Disinfection of premises

Advice is required (with clinicians' support) for those who will require to disinfect premises, as we begin to open up. I've not seen anything such advice within Scottish Government sites.

Why the contribution is important

Adequate cleansing of premises is essential (e.g. for retail and hospitality sectors). Commercially driven advice may not meet requirements for Covid-19 cleansing.

I agree, strict hygiene in cafes, retail shops or indeed anywhere where we have general public is a must for any business to reopen.
Strict guidelines from government is required, also auditing /monitoring to ensure compliance.

What has been done to find out how easy or not it is to kill coronavirus on different surfaces e.g. does sunlight have an impact. Best to quantify & qualify so everyone knows how best to sanitise premises or items without over using disinfectants which can have an adverse environmental impact. Sound science needed.
