Driver training

Drivers returning to their cars may well be' rusty 'and require refresher training. Ideally this is best delivered on road but until strict guidelines for in car driver training are provided on line courses may be the answer.
Organisations such IAM RoadSmart are looking to providing such courses but they need support and signposting from official channels.

Such courses will also help raise driver awareness of higher numbers of pedestrians and cyclists as well as new road layouts which have been put in place to encourage active travel. They will help ensure that accident levels do not return to a level above pre Co-Vid levels.
