Early retirement for vulnerable aged 55+

Those who are vulnerable, those requiring shielding plus other vulnerabilities, to be offered early retirement with early state pension to enable them the opportunity to stay safe and for employers to know where they stand vis-a-vis employees.

Why the contribution is important

Even when the peak has passed some people will still remain vulnerable until a vaccine is developed.

Allow early retirement for all 60 year olds and allow younger people careers when safe to do so

If employees in the SPPA scheme apply for early payment of their pension due to having a medical condition which renders them vulnerable it would seem fair that they be awarded their full ill health retiral pension entitlement without question
