My grandchildren are struggling with social isolation from their friends at school, aged 7/9. Particularly worried about the 9yr old boy, isolating himself within the family. Would it be possible for schools to bring children back to their original classes in August, so that they can see their old teacher, before they move into the
there next class.

Really worried about the mental health issues for these young children. They share so much with their peers and it's all been bottled up inside. They also share with teachers and will need reassurances that their previous teachers are ok.
Also worried about the children who have been doing work at home with parents who are pushing them to achieve, whereas others will be struggling with little or no education. How will assessments be made on the gaps and will there be extra teaching assistants to enable catch up
