Elderly with COVID 19 admitted to hospital

All elderly should be admitted to hospital immediately when presenting with COVID 19 symptoms. They would then receive oxygen and full time nursing care. This could bring the outbreak in care homes under control and save the lives of both them and care home staff and their families.

It should have been happening at the outset as it is for others in the vulnerable group. It is time to put this right.
