Encourage open educational practice to be adopted across Scottish Education
We would like the best for all learners . The public purse pays schools , colleges , universities and other public agencies to create learning materials but does not currently encourage them to collaborate and share learning materials. A shared approach to development and repurposing of learning materials and approaches would help greatly in current crisis and in the future and is advocated by UNESCO . Policy makers should now encourage all institutions to adopt https://declaration.openscot.net/
Why the contribution is important
This would be a constructive response in the current crisis that would offer longer term benefits to the Scottish learning system and above all learners.
