exercise

I do not see why people cannot sunbath in local parks or if you are near a beach as long as distancing is maintained and people are requested to use hand sanitisers if they have used a bench

Why the contribution is important

People are stressed by having to remain indoors or exercise round the street.
Also many people do not have gardens.
Vitamin D is good for health.
Sunshine is good for well being and not everyone is fit enough to keep moving

Agree we lack vit D here. Don't see a problem with sitting in the sunshine - but not if it's an excuse to party ie drink alcohol. Picnic is good but groups drinking is not appropriate

Agree with this but feel that there will always be some who abuse this by congregating in large groups flouting the social distancing and making it difficult for others. Is there a way the amount of people allowed in parks/ open spaces at any specific time could be controlled ?

Yes, sad to see photo of sunbathers in park in Glasgow being spoken to by Police.

I agree but sadly fear this will be abused. Please don’t alter too quickly

I think it is important that restrictions on activities that we are allowed to do are based on disease transmission risks, so sunbathing in a park with 2m distance is fine, gathering in large groups is not fine.

Focus on the real risks of virus spread I.e. Close contact- absolutely hammer those who congregate and don't respect social distancing- but allow harmless safe practices like sunbathing, pick nicking or just sitting on a park bench enjoying the sunshine
