Expand access to vehicles

People need to get about without using public transport. Consider a policy of expanding access to cars, taxis, etc to allow social distancing.

Why the contribution is important

Reduces virus transmission, helps personal independence.

    Who needs to get about?

We are in a time of lockdown and have been told to stay at home as much as possible . The only people driving should be key workers going too and from work.

The news has reported that heart attacks and asthma attacks are down and this could be due to lower pollution levels. People are healthier from walking more as they feel the roads are safer. The only time people need to be in a vehicle is when they are getting driven to hospital. Do not expand access to cars!

Being able to go for a wee drive out with essential activities is important for people who have mobility issues and can't go out for a daily walk. Seems like those with mobility issues have been forgotten in what we can/can't do.

Not everyone who has a mobility issue is able to use public transport regardless of their risk of contracting covid-19.
