Families

Given the duartion of the lockdown and the fact that the vast majority of people have adhered to the rules, it is time to allow family bubbles of say 10 people maximum to be able to meet.

Why the contribution is important

Social and mental wellbeing needs to be recognised as being important. Trust is important and given the vast majority of people are responsible and understanding of risk, this is a measure that can be introduced with little risk of infection being spread significantly.

I think allowing friends and family who are local, to meet and socialise is a good idea. However 10 seems large to me, perhaps 4 or 5 people. Other restrictions such as once per week and a duration of a few hours seems sensible too.

I love the idea of bubbles but the overlap between families if it is limited to 2 households could cause problems .Maybe 10 people is more workable - perhaps even with a codicil that you meet no more more than say 5 other people at any one time
